Having extensive experience at Senior Management levels within both the Finance and Manufacturing sectors, Rowen Gransden followed the entrepreneurial path and established a consulting business in 2003.

In business he experienced the myriad of challenges of a start-up through its growth phases - planning, technology, systems, databases, marketing, sales, cash flows and finding the right people.

Rowen’s experience in manufacturing and his business qualifications led him to create a ‘lean’ business model, building a small, highly skilled consulting team and while keeping overheads low.

As he grew his customer base he found affinity and shared challenges with clients who welcomed him as a trusted advisor, confidante, coach and mentor. This lead to establishment of the Smart Advantage brand in 2009.

Provision of these services have now grown to be a major part of his business and he has built a team to meet these needs. These include consultants and collaborators who have specific and/or generalist skills across a wide range of disciplines including;
