ForeSight Home Performance designs retrofit upgrade solutions for wet/moldy attics, ice dams, unevenly heated/cooled and drafty new and existing homes. Since the 1970's homeowners have been adding insulation to their homes to reduce energy use. While adding insulation to homes will reduce energy use, if the installer doesn't do it right, the work will unwittingly either not stop ice dams or will cause a wet/moldy attic where it was never wet before. Installers have all been educated about this potential issue, but none of them can know before hand that their work will keep an attic dry. I use reliable/predictable performance testing standards to verify the successful completion of the installers work. That way you KNOW that these unwanted problems will not become your problems while you are trying to reduce your energy use.
