Mount Olivet Cemetery

Mt. Olivet has been serving Hanover and the surrounding community since 1859. Our relationship with families goes back many generations and our experience will help guide you through the final memorialization of a loved one. Our Board of Managers has looked to the future to secure land sufficient for many years to come. Lots are still available in our older sections, however many more options are available in our newer sections. The Mt. Olivet Cemetery Association was founded in 1859 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian community cemetery governed by a Board of Managers who are elected each year and serve without remuneration. Management of cemetery grounds is by a Cemetery Manager, appointed by the Board of Managers, this manager is authorized to enforce all of the Cemetery's rules and regulations. Our grounds crew is justifiably proud of the excellent condition of the cemetery’s landscape. It is a serene and beautiful hill overlooking the town.
