In 2012 I was honored to be elected as a State Legislator from the Central Bench of Boise, where I have lived for 30 years. I have been fortunate to work with Sue Chew and Elliot Werk because their experience and help has been invaluable. As a legislator I have advocated better school funding, fought failed private prison management of one of our State prisons, and opposed same sex marriage discrimination at the Idaho Tax Commission. I am serving on the State Affairs, Business, and Transportation committees. Recently, I volunteered in support of the bond campaign to increase open space in Boise.
