Family Physicans of Johnson City

SoFHA, founded in 1998, is a physician owned and operated organization which is board managed. James Hansen, M.D. serves as Chief Manager with Dr. Ronald Blackmore serving as Chairman of the Board. Currently, SoFHA consists of 100 providers in the specialties of internal medicine, OB/GYN, family practice, pediatrics, hospitalists and sleep medicine. SoFHA also has a walk-in clinic with evening, holiday and weekend hours. There are three clinical practice sites in Johnson City supported by diagnostic imaging services, a clinical reference lab, sleep center, physical therapy, durable medical equipment services and a clinical research division. SoFHA is affiliated with ETSU College of Pharmacy which operates a clinical practice site for diabetes. Our physicians provide care at the following facilities: Johnson City Medical Center, Franklin Woods Hospital, Quillen Rehabilitation Hospital and Holston Valley Medical Center.
