Balanced body Spa involves balancing each muscle group during massage. Within each muscle group is both an antagonist and protagonist muscle. Together these muscles help to create back and forth movements. When one of these muscles receives additional stress or tension, the entire muscle group becomes out of balance, creating additional tension for one or both of the muscles. By reducing stress of the first muscle through REGULAR massage and tissue manipulation, you can maintain a equal amount of tension between each muscle group. This allows them to become balanced -- reducing pain, injury and stress on the muscle tissue.
