David S. Kao, DDS

Periodontics is the specialty of dentistry which encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth or their substitutes and the maintenance of the health, function and esthetics of these structures and tissues. Dr. Kao has achieved the highest honor in the field of Periodontology: Board certification by the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Kao bases his treatments on well accepted research findings, ensuring sound judgment for your dental care. Dr. Kao completed specialty training in Periodontology and Dental Implants at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He has practiced as Periodontist since 2007. Currently he sees patients both in his practice in Downtown Los Angeles and as a specialist in multiple dental practices in Southern California. He works with several General Dentists, providing special dental care to their patients.
