Welcome to Allergen & Mold Assessment ("AMA"). We are a professional residential and commercial indoor air quality service company. Our team consists of mycologists, inspectors and technicians. We are based out of Laguna Niguel and specialize in mold inspections and environmental assessments throughout Southern California.

There are good molds (no concern), bad molds (very big concern) and ugly molds (remediate or hold breath and dispose of), and it is important to keep mold in its proper perspective. Molds are fungi and are a natural part of our environment. Mold is neither a plant nor an animal, although it is closer to the animal kingdom than the plant kingdom. All molds share the characteristic of being able to grow without sunlight; mold needs only a viable seed (spore), a nutrient source, moisture and the right temperature to colonize and to proliferate; and that's when we come in.
