Hello, my name is Lucas Vella and my family has been in the flooring business for over forty years. My father, Karl Vella, opened The Floor Trader flooring retail store in Lafayette, LA over twenty years ago; that’s where you can find me most days. Over the last ten years, the need for area rugs has grown. Carpet as a wall-to-wall flooring option has decreased over time, but carpet has a place in every home or business. Acadiana Carpet Binding was established to fill a need when a standard size area rug just won’t do. ACB can take any type of carpet and make it into an area rug that is a custom fit for any space; and we absolutely love getting creative too! We can carve initials into your rug, seam various colors/patterns together, bind borders in your perfect color, and so much more! Being associated with The Floor Trader allows our customers to view our in stock samples and select from all our large manufacturers at competitive prices. We also offer pickup and delivery options.
