John Tamboer is a Grand Rapids-based attorney who specializes in estate and business planning and estate administration. He entered private practice 1994 and has since helped thousands of clients protect their business, property, and family.John is admitted to practice in all courts for the State of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Military Appeals. His professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. John is a past chairman of the Lawyer Referral and Information Service Committee, and he has served as chairman of the Solo/Small Firm Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association.Prior to entering private practice, John was an attorney in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps of the United States Navy, where he served for five years. He received a Navy Achievement Medal and Navy Commendation Medal for his service.
