Gayles Wigs 'N' Things was founded in 1950 in the Church Street area of Norfolk, Virginia by husband and wife team Sam and Lillian Snyder, who were childhood sweethearts. The business began as Gayle's Junior Department store selling everything from clothing to toys and quickly branched out into wigs. After 60 years in the business, the Snyders have developed long lasting relationships with a vast network of wig manufacturers. If you can't find the wig you want in our large inventory, we can definitely find it for you. We have also developed long lasting relationships with our customers over all these years. We also have a large selection of turbans, and headwraps for hair loss.
