Ortho Bionomy is a neurological and structure based work that works with the body's ability to self-correct without pain or force. The key elements of the work is our ability to work with the nervous system. The brilliance of this work, is the interweaving without pain, the bodies ability to understand it's own condition and allowing self-correction to shift the body.
A simple metaphor is to think of the body or picture the body as being controlled by a living computer (the brain) and Ortho-Bionomy as a way of managing, (controlling, rewiring) the underlying software that controls all of the total systems including the bones and muscles. When these internal connections are re-established, the body is allowed to go from survival mode back to its natural state of balance.
For this work, the client is fully clothed.
