"I am a Civil Celebrant authorised under Commonwealth Law by the Attorney General, which allows me to conduct Marriage Ceremonies throughout Australia. I am located in Ocean Grove, located in the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria.

I have been a Celebrant for five years and I am passionate about what I do. There is great joy and satisfaction in helping people celebrate the best days of their life, and I genuinely also find joy and satisfaction with funerals. It is about making it the best day it can possibly be for the parties concerned.

Prior to becoming a Celebrant, I served 15 years as a policewoman and detective with the Victoria Police Force, 10 years as a University Lecturer, 6 years as an Accreditation Consultant, while concurrently conducting my own business 'State of Play' as an Experiential Facilitator. I hold various qualifications including a Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Education.

All this holds me in good stead as an effective communicator with an ease of effort in relating to people from all walks of life.

My role extends far beyond Weddings and Funerals. I am a strong advocate of 'Party with a Purpose' which promotes celebrations of all types. If it is worth a celebration, it is worth having a ceremony of some kind to give the occasion some structure and purpose.

Why conduct a Ceremony you might ask? Ceremonies are what we use to give structure and make sense of significant occasions. They provide memorable moments in time, that go on to become part of a person's history.

If required, I can provide an excellent quality amp and microphone, signing table and two chairs, certificates, and relevant documentation if applicable"
