Volta Electric

David Mason North and his wife, Kara North, started Volta Building Systems (Volta Electric) in August 2011. Mason is a licensed Master Electrician with 10 years of experience in the electrical field. Mason was first introduced to his career path when he proudly served as an Electrician’s Mate in the United States Coast Guard. After his time as a “Coastie” in Minnesota, he moved down to Washington, DC where he worked 6 years in residential work. In 2007, in order to broaden his knowledge and training, he switched to commercial work. In 2008, Mason won the regional Craft Championship semi-finals and went on to compete in the National Craft Championship competition in Hawaii. Mason loves owning his own company and is dedicated to his customers!
