Dr. Olsen practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgeries to bone grafting procedures and wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Olsen's staff is trained in assisting with various sedation techniques including I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. The friendly surgical staff are experienced, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. The staff is informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified. Dr. Olsen works with some of the best general and family dentists in the area as well as various dental specialists in order to cover every aspect of patient care. Dr. Olsen graduated with honors from the University of Pacific, School of Dentistry located in San Francisco, California. Dr. Olsen completed his specialty training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, gaining extensive experience in trauma, pathology, bone grafting and dentoalveolar surgery with an emphasis on dental implants. Dr. Olsen continues to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education per year, keeping abreast of the latest procedures and technology. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and also a board certified dental anesthesiologist. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
