I am using live2support live chat service from last 5 years. I would like to point one thing here that the use of chat is not only to get the better on line sale it is also used to provide supports to the existing clients. Popup are reactive in nature where as live chats can be proactive also and at last there is always a human brain sitting behind the live chat to do the brain mapping of the visitor which is not possible in case of popup which have a uniform approach to the customer.
