Atwater Nursery is family-owned and operated since 1968. Theodore Kost came to Atwater, Ohio and began a family legacy. Purchasing land he planted over 300 acres with trees, shrubs, evergreen, day lilies, hydrangeas, and more—the same beautiful acreage we plant today for our wholesale and retail landscaping products.

Our multi-generation of family experts are always available to answer your questions. Tim Kost and Tim Kost, Jr.—both graduates of The Ohio State University—can assist you with any landscaping need—or feel free to talk to the real boss, Liesa Kost!

We grow all stock at our location, so it’s acclimated to our climate, insuring the plants will thrive in your environment as well. We stock over 20,000 plants that are ready to go! Our inventory includes trees in pots measuring up to 8 feet, or large caliper, up to 20 feet tall. Pricing ranges per product, from $10-$100 and from 4 inches tall to twenty feet tall.
