Being a local company, we understand what summers on the east end of long island are all about. It’s a time for reuniting with family, spending quality time outdoors, and taking a break from the stress that the rest of the year puts on us. What better way to do this than to feel you are in your own sanctuary every time you step into your backyard.

As our name implies, we feel prevention is key to the eradication of ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes. According to studies, most pest activity in the Northeast begins in March and stays active throughout the year with periods of high and lows. Our program commences early April and finishes late October, with a recommended amount of six applications spread one month apart. We offer two varieties of control, organic Cedar Oil or a synthetic blend of Seven SL. The application technique is the same whether a homeowner chooses organic or synthetic. First our technician will insert yellow yard signs at all entrances indicating an application will occur. Secondly, they will spray the entire perimeter of your property creating a barrier. Third, applicator will use a back and forth (sweeping) motion ensuring all turf areas and shrubbery has been covered with product. No hard scape will be sprayed, e.g., driveways, walkways, patio, deck.

In addition to our multi spray programs, we also offer single or pre party applications. The summer months are a time for celebrating events that leave us with long lasting memories. Allow universal to let those memories be as safe and pleasurable as possible.
