The Barn at Red Gate Farms : Savannah's Venue

Red Gate Farms is a truly southern event venue. This traditional, rustic country setting is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the downtown Historic District of Savannah, Georgia. We provide full service wedding and event services.
The history of the farm begins when Mr. Harry E. Martin, Jr. bought an undeveloped tract of 440 acres in 1931. Mr. Martin and his wife named the land "Red Gate Farms" in loving memory of Mrs. Martin's cousin, Cyris Steadwell, that had spoken of his dream to own such a farm and naming it Red Gate. Mr. Steadwell gave his life in defense of our great nation in the First World War.
Red Gate Farms is still owned by the family. The farm has evolved over the years from its original status of Georgia’s first Jersey Cattle Farm, to today’s standing of Savannah’s southern event venue! We pride ourselves on making dreams a reality for every client. From the beautiful waterfront meadows to the enchanting historic barn, we will assist you in creating an experience you and your guests will always remember.
