William Blanchard is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law with 40 years' experience providing quality legal services. Bill is a licensed Illinois attorney, Managing Real Estate Broker, and property owner. His legal services are limited to real estate matters as real estate transfers and taxation have become heavily regulated, complex and required greater concentration. Today, his clients include commercial and residential property buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, insurers, as well as referrals from attorneys with clients in need of his specialized legal services.

Real estate taxes have always been an integral aspect of property ownership and investment but even more so in time of dramatic price fluctuations in real estate markets. Taxes can no longer be considered a static "fixed expense" but a factor to be given greater consideration in investment analysis, planning and profitability. What began as self-representation in all matters related to property tax assessments and appeals grew to a legal services specialty for owners of real estate located in DuPage, Will, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, DeKalb and Winnebago counties in Illinois. He now represents hundreds of residential and commercial taxpayers in connection with property tax matters each year. In 2014 he successfully won assessment reductions for 97% of his clients.
