Stages of Change Counseling Center is a private practice established by Brooklyn Cyr, LAADC CA. Ms. Cyr is a Licensed CA Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the credentialing body of CCAPP (California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals). This is the highest credential the state of California recognizes for substance abuse counselors. Ms. Cyr is also a recovering addict with many years of clean and sober living which she is grateful for. Ms. Cyr holds a degree in Addiction Counseling from the New Hampshire Technical Institute as well as being a Certified Anger Management Facilitator and Certified Parenting Instructor.

Ms. Cyr utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a 12-Step Model and Motivational Interviewing. Ms. Cyr is also certified in the EBP of Seeking Safety. In addition to this, Ms. Cyr has years of professional as well as personal experience to draw upon. Ms. Cyr has worked with an array of clientele including youth, adults, court referred and those in the entertainment industry. Ms. Cyr has been a part of such television productions as: A&E’s Intervention, VH1’s Celebrity Rehab and Celebrity Sober House. Ms. Cyr is a musician as well as a counselor, and this allows her to empathize with those surrounded by the stressful culture of the entertainment industry and the unique pressures it can bring to its creative minds.

Friday: Youth Group 4pm-6pm, Friday Adult Group 7pm-9pm.
Saturday: Youth Group 10am-12pm, Adult Group 1pm-3pm.
Sunday: Multi-Family Youth Group 10am-12pm, Multi-Family Adult Group 1pm-3pm.
Individual Sessions by appointment only
