Attorney A. J. Mitchell’s professional work experience includes fifteen years of duty as a U.S. Army officer, where he served in various positions of contract management both in the U.S. and abroad. During Operation Desert Storm, he was deployed to Saudi Arabia and served as Chief of Contracts, U.S. Army Support Group. Upon receiving an early retirement from the army, he served as Corporate Purchasing and Subcontracts Manager, Westinghouse Remediation Services, Inc. After leaving Westinghouse, he joined General Electric Company (GE) and served as a Manager of Contracts and Risk Management for GE Power Systems and later served as a GE Risk Attorney, providing legal, contract, and risk management advice to management, sales, and project management teams. Attorney Mitchell left GE in May of 2003 to pursue a private law practice and established the Law Offices of A. J. Mitchell, LLC, a general practice law firm, which focuses on the following areas of law: Bankruptcy, Auto Accidents & Injuries, Family Law and Divorce, Wills and Trust, DUI and Traffic Defense, Business Formation
