I utilized Swenson Investors to rent out my condo when I moved in with my fiancee. Craig was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He was prompt to meet me when inspecting the property, offered suggestions for repairs/upgrades, took pics for advertising, completed a full market analysis, suggested an optimal rental rate, and promptly found tenants. Throughout the years the property was rented, Craig kept me informed when there were repairs but otherwise the automated system of receiving my monthly rent payment and statements was very consistent and eliminated any need to stay in constant contact. When I decided to sell my property, Craig was very good about mediating between my realtor and the tenant, and even though he had no real incentive to do anything he was absolutely there to help out and explained the process of making a "clean break" with my tenant and ensuring all parties involved left in good terms. I planned on using Craig to rent out another condo, but we ended up selling that property as well. What I like most about Craig is his honesty and integrity; he offered his opinions about renting versus selling properties, what locations to invest in, etc. I never felt rushed and Craig never made me feel like I was wasting his time when I asked so many questions. I'm quite surprised regarding the two negative reviews, as the complaints the people had (unreliability, not using move in/out procedures) did not occur in my case. Craig called back within 1 business day whenever I left messages, corresponded via email when needed, and also followed standard protocols with my tenants. In fact, I plan on using Swenson Investors with any properties that are within their area of service. As a person that travels constantly, I really depended on Craig and Swenson Investors to manage my property and keep me away from the duties of being a landlord. On all accounts, I was completely satisfied with their service and would refer Swenson Investors without hesitation.

We had Craig manage our properties since 2009. Prior to that year, we have unsuccessfully tried several property managers who can truly understand to be on our side. On our initial meeting with Craig, we are impressed by his market analysis, a win-win situation presentation, and our monthly owner statements are available online to us. We were hesitant to fully sold to him until he is tested. After all these years, he has not disappointed us especially now that we have moved out of state. He has been able to choose good quality tenants maintaining good rapport with them as well as ensure our properties are always in good condition. We are very glad to have him - we have recommended him to 2 of our friends who are equally have high regards to his expertise. He's a rare gem!

Back in December of 2011 I sought out a review here on YELP for property managing outfits. I got attracted to Swenson by a nifty little flashing sign special they were having in their ad that I followed off YELP. By February, Craig Swension, owner, had turned my idea into my dream end of income property. He told me and my husband what to do, we did it, and now we have fabulous tenants. Everything was done professionally, starting with a very down to earth professional presentation about him and his company at our dining room table. He was aggressive with marketing and told us just the right things to do to get our place rented in just over a month and a half. His pricing is very competative, and now I am about to investigate his online service of our account activity. What more can you ask for. This was a painless as it gets. Thanks Craig, we talk about you all the time!

In 2009, we had issues with our non-paying tenants and our property management at the time was not easily accessible. I vividly remember that depressing weekend when we needed to hire a new property manager to take over and take care of our issues. There were 3 property management candidates we called that we located from craigslist, and only 1 responded and stepped up to the rescue. That was Craig Swenson! Craig found very interested and influential tenants who for strategic actions were able to evict the non-paying tenants without going thru the eviction process. Rental Dues come directly deposited to our accounts on time. Maintenance services were handled in efficient manners with no complaints from the tenants. Craig has made our lives easy as property owners since then and to this day (Dec 2011). We highly recommend Craig from the Swenson's Investors to any property owner in the Bay Area, CA needing these property management services.

As a homeowner the service is great. He found us a tenant quickly. Repairs are performed quickly at a reasonable cost. Monthly reports are delivered on time. Very professional service that makes it easy to be a rental investor.

Swenson Investors have been great to work with; they have a lot of experience and are very professional. They provided accurate financial information to help determine the business case to rent my property. Once that decision was made they quickly listed the property and posted an online video. There were applicants immediately and the property was rented at the expected rate shortly after being listed. Swenson has provided excellent ongoing service in collecting deposits and rent, timely hiring of contractors when services are needed and providing details of any and all activity regarding the property. I will definitely be sticking with Swenson Investors and will use them to manage my next rental property.

Last summer my job was relocated and we decided to rent our family home in Danville. I called Swenson Investors Property Management and decided to have them handle the rental. It was smooth sailing all the way from locating a great tenant to preparing the property for rent, Mr. Swenson was top notch. Everything was handled professionally and courteously. Now the tenant is happy and I am relieved. Shortly after the new tenant moved in a portion of the rear fence fell from a big storm. Mr. Swenson was instrumental in assisting getting bids and negotiating a good price. The fence was repaired and the tenant was very pleased with the fast response. We needed to rent our house out due to a work relocation so we were landlords by necessity not by want. I appreciated the fact that Craig treated us no differently than if we were major investors with multiple investment properties. His contacts in the industry saved us a lot of money on repairs/replacements to get the house ready to rent and during the rental term. I loved the online visibility into what was happening at the house. We live out of state so being able to access the owner's reports online and the money showing up automatically in our accounts was a great benefit. The tenants were able to log service requests online as well and all the documentation was available for us to review when the repair bills were paid. It was a great help for us to have Craig manage our property and we will use him again if we ever have a rental property.

A Tenant's perspective -Craig Swenson is a professional, reliable and easily assessible (phone, text, email & website) property manager. He made my lease sign up and move-in process easy & quick with eSigning/eDocs/ePayments while I relocating with my family to East Bay last year.He and his team was always prompt in addressing all issues throughout my stay in the house. His team always called back prompty to schedule maintainance appointments, called in advance of arrival and was ready to accomodate my family's availability needs.I was ready for a rough ride when the home owner announced he was selling the house but Craig facilitated easy and smooth transition out of the house and the lease. Couldn't have asked for more.Thanks Craig!

I rented a property from Craig Swenson - very friendly, warm and accommodating PM. Our maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner, and like the rent, can be arranged online through Swenson's web portal. Good give and take business guy - supported repair efforts that I was able to undertake myself (only called him in for the big stuff) One note if you are a tenant, make sure to research/negotiate move-out services (painting, cleaning, carpet, etc.), as they can be higher than you may plan. All in all a good experience.

Craig Swenson is the best. We lucked out as first time landlords. he has been so accommodating it is a delight to be a landlord. When he says he has someone to do the work for you, believe him. We have had floors done, paint estimates, house cleaners, all at our fingertips through Craig. They are quick, bonded, no guessing. Don't think twice about Swenson's, can't say enough good stuff.

Craig made renting my townhouse pain free. He was extremely responsive and has a ton of resources at his fingertips to have things fixed for my tenant, sometimes within hours. What was extremely impressive is during the sale of my rental Craig continued to be extremely helpful, responsive, and professional in working out the logistics with my realtor and tenant. I would definitely recommend Craig and will use him in the future.
