Allen Floors is a company of local best friends who have nearly 40 combined years of flooring experience in the Allen, McKinney and the DFW metroplex areas. All of us have run, managed or been owners of various chain and local floor stores. What we've strived to create is an economy friendly environment for ourselves, our installers and of course our customers. Come by our store and you will find a small but efficient no nonsense place to shop.
While keeping our overhead as low as our vast experience will let us, we have fit as many samples of the best brands available into our 2500sf showroom. Low overhead and financial equality are the biggest reasons we can save you money. Lower margins are only possible by spending less and not having to hit enforced quotas that are common to this industry. We will never try to make a whole months profit off just one job. Purchased laminate flooring for living room and dining area. Floors were installed by an installation crew set up by Allen Floors. Extremely happy with the whole process. I priced out similar flooring at a few other places and found Allen Floors to be less than most and was able to get a higher quality product than I was seeing elsewhere. Communication was excellent and felt "in the loop" during the whole process. A couple weeks later my boys managed to break a "T mold" that separates the laminate from the tile. Within days the piece was replaced at no additional cost to me. Great products, great communication, great service, and no surprise costs. Can't recommend enough.

We purchased the flooring from Sam's Club, but we had them install it. They provided the cord around and the underlaminate. Their team came in promptly and were very efficient. We were very happy. Great.

Allen Floors took the old tile, carpet, and laminate flooring from our entry, kitchen, laundry, living room and master bedroom. They then replaced it with new tile and wood flooring. We would highly recommend Allen Floors. Although their showroom is small, they have plenty of beautiful samples to choose from. Johnny answered all our questions and helped us in selecting the flooring that would work best in our home. Their estimate was far less than previous estimates we had received from other companies. We were amazed that it only took three days to complete our job. Also, the crew left no mess behind. When the job was complete, all that was left was beautiful new flooring.

The entire process went very smoothly. I called on a Thursday and they came out Friday to give the estimate. I wanted to have the work done as soon as possible and they were able to schedule the job for the next Friday. Jimmy and his crew were fantastic and I am extremely pleased with Allen Floors and will call on them for all of my future flooring needs.

Removed old carpet from 6 rooms and replaced with engineered hardwood. I am very satisfied with the job overall. The installers were very nice, polite and quality conscious. I felt confident leaving the house with them working. They were able to start the job the same week I ordered it done. It took a little longer than estimated, but did not seem unreasonable. Entire job took 7 days; 5 was estimated. The workers did not arrive very early each day (about 10:30 or 11:00 am), but they did work into the evening most days. They seemed very careful about ensuring that subfloors were level before laying the wood. They also were very careful with moving my furniture. I feel I got a good, competitive price on the work, and I am very happy with the final product.

In May, one of the owners of the store, Dave came to the house to measure for the laminate installation and later we came out to the store to select the product. We then scheduled the work. The 3-man crew came out and completed the work in 3 1/2 days. The crew was easy to work with. In September, we decided to schedule the second phase of the laminate installation and called the store and Dave came out to perform the floor measurement for the laminate and tile. We returned to the store and met with the other owner, Johnny to select the tile. The work was scheduled. The same 3-man crew from the May job came out and installed the laminate and tile in 3 days. Both jobs were done without major issues. The owners and crew were easy to work with.

All work completed as promised and Company even came back to check on quality and my satisfactionof the work performed. Company excelled in the install process and even had their carpet installers come back to make sure the carpet to laminate transitioned well. My house has thick, expensive carpet that transitions perfectly to the laminate floor in the kitchen and entry hall. Allen Flooring is a full service flooring company and they brought all there expertize to my small job.

Allen Floors installed ceramic tile in the bathroom and laminate in two living areas. They also had to grind out some cement overlay from a previous flooring company. Everyone at Allen Floors was a pleasure to deal with. Johnny gave me a fair price and took care of everything. Hugo and his crew came in after another local flooring company had left us with a horrible finished product. A four man crew arrived on time and worked like a well oiled machine. They were effecient and took care of everything as promised. I will recommend them to everyone I know and they will be my first call the next time I need new flooring.

Allen Floors catered to my every need. They agreed to install carpet hours after closing on my new home. When that day changed, the day before, they quickly adjusted. This happened twice! I wouldn't have ever expected this, but was certainly happy that they made it work for me, especially since I had movers coming in hours later. The carpet choices were vast, and for me working in Allen, their storefront was very conveniently located. Highly recommend doing business with Allen Floors.

Supplied and installed porceline tile in my kitchen and eating area as well as hand scraped wood flooring in the entryway, hall, dining room, living room and family room - a total of 2000 sq. feet. From the moment I walked into their office until the workers were done. there was nothing but helpful and courteous service and assistance. I told them what I had to spend and was appropriately guided. They never tried to talk me into going higher in price and guided me in the direction of materials in my price range that were very rich looking. When the installers arrived promptly at the time I had been quoted, they immediately started moving my furniture out of their way and proceeded to work on the flooring. By Friday evening, they were essentially done and had cleaned up the flooring of all dust and started moving some of the furniture in. They came back Saturday morning to finish up some of the minor details as well as finish moving the rest of the furniture back into place. Everyone involved in this was professional as very skilled in their workmanship. I couldn't be happier. I feel like I live in a new house. Truly a wonderful company that takes pride in their work.

Allen Floors installed porcelain tile in my den and small kitchen. I had waited years to have new flooring put in because I thought it would be an ordeal to have all the furniture moved and that it would be too expensive. I also have been indecisive about what type and size and color of tile to get. I finally decided to make the plunge. David Clinton, the owner of Allen Floors, came out and gave suggestions as to the type of tile to install. He brought me some samples based on what i had told him on the phone beforehand. He gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. I had been recommended to them through a friend, so I went with his company. The small crew came out as planned and got the job done in ONE DAY and a half! I could not believe how these guys worked. They are like machines (except friendly). I have a three piece, free standing, wall unit that is extremely heavy. I also have low ceilings. The guys got the unit out and back in with no problem or damages.They also had to move the fridge, washing machine and oven. The tiles are beautiful and smooth and even! I wish I had done this many years ago. Overall the experience with Allen Floors was wonderful. They were all professional and thorough and the price was great. I could not ask for anything more! Removed carpet and installed hand-scraped hardwood floors in a bedroom and closet. I am 100% satisfied with the work done and the follow-up that Johnny did via phone to make sure that I was happy and that everything was going well. Juan was amazing as the foreman on the job. He were here when he said he would be, worked around my travel schedule, worked on a Saturday and even offered to work on Sunday to complete the floor - which I refused and told him that Monday was perfectly okay! They matched the color to the original floor in other rooms that the builder installed. BUT, their work is much better than that of our original floors because the hand-scraping is more consistent and deeper - the way it should be done! They made everything easy including payment - half up front by Paypal and the other half at the end with a check handed to Juan. I never left my house to do anything related to this work! I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again!
