Adaias Souza: Allstate Insurance

I purchased my first insurance agency when I was 19 years old. I spent 10 years learning about the industry as an independent agency owner before opening my Allstate agency here in Somerville in 2014. Offering the best available products and services to customers has always been important to me, and I knew owning an Allstate agency was the best way to serve my community.
I’ve lived or worked in the Somerville area since 1993. I attended Lincoln Park Elementary, which is now the Albert F. Argenziano School. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch this area grow over the years. I’ve always been involved in community activities through school, church or work and have been proud to support the community through my agency. A few causes I support each year include Respond Inc. and Union Square Main Streets. I also enjoy strengthening my relationships with other local business owners through the Somerville Chamber of Commerce and was the proud recipient of their Business Neighbor of the Year award in 2018.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Renata, and our two children. Some of my other hobbies include home improvement, surfing, boxing, rock climbing and dining at local restaurants. I also love spending time on Prospect Hill or strolling around Union Square when the weather is nice. Somerville is home to many parks, universities and theatres, making it a great place to explore. There’s always something new and interesting happening here.
