Founded in 2014 by Chris Fredericks in Carmel, Indiana, Foodisan was the result of a simple question: what holiday gift am I going to give my employees this year? In the previous year, Chris had given everyone on his team caramel apples from a local orchard, and they were a huge hit. Thinking along the same lines, Chris thought a great gift would be a box full of an assortment of some of the best snacks and treats made by local Indiana artisans. After some research (translation: gathering and eating a bunch of great snacks), Foodisan was born.
