Jan Schmitt has been a professional court reporter for over 30 years working in Portland, Oregon and Southwest Washington. Her experience and professionalism has attracted and retains the top court reporters and video personnel in the region. Jan continues to report as well as manage. She enjoys the client contact and the relationships that develop over many years of reporting.

We report depositions, trials, arbitrations, hearings, interviews, public hearings, meetings as well as transcribe video and audio tapes. Our reporters are trained to report highly technical, medical and complex litigation cases. All reporters are Certified Court Reporters. We also provide national coverage for your proceeding. To keep abreast of the latest in technology, litigation services, and trends both locally and nationally, we are members of the National Court Reporters Association, the Oregon Court Reporters Association, the Washington Court Reporters Association and The Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting. Jan annually attends NCRA's National Firm Owners' Conference, allowing us to network with other top court reporting firm owners across the United States.
