Coopers started out in Myrtle Beach during the 1930’s as building contractors and furniture upholsterers. Wanting to be his own boss and keep the family name going, Glenn H. Cooper founded Cooper Mechanical in 1987. He aspired to provide the Grand Strand with a level of service and professionalism that was unknown to the area at the time.
