Urban City Youth

Urban City Youth in Los Angeles, California, is a Non-Profit Youth Organization Keeping kids off the streets. We are proud to present unique live performances and plays focusing on African American history. We also broadcast youth radio and television shows.

Our mission is to interrupt the vicious and destructive cycle of street life by providing alternatives in broadcast media production. We nurture the passion for radio, television and/or film through comprehensive instruction on core production fundamentals. Simply put, the UCY training facilities prepare students for a bright future in broadcast media. Our dedicated staff are passionate about training the next great generation of media professionals.
