Sushi King!
The atmosphere from the first moment you walk in feels like your in japan. The staff greets you in a nice and friendly manner. The plates are proportionate and the quality of food is excellent. I will defiantly be going back. Best sushi I have had in LA, hands down.

Tengu, The Best Sushi Hot Spot In All Of L.A
If you're looking for a sushi hot spot in Los Angeles, with all of the emotions such as temptation, feasting, elegance, and a plate full of sushi, Tengu is the spot for you. When I first took a step into this Japaneese Cuisine, the atmosphere was very friendly and home-welcoming. The staff is very curtious in every type of manner and they make you feel delightful. Inside was calming, and sensual and you feel invited right when you wak in. My personal favorite Sake at Tengu is the Signature House- Infused Sake, which is the pineapple Sake, with fresh Maui pineapples.If you're looking for a taset of fruity,delectable sake,this is the type I would suggest. If you love a variety of different types of sushi roll then Tengu will be the spot for you. I wouldn't have this sushi spot any other way in any other part of Los Angeles

Sick like never before....Horrible Customer Service
My girl and I went to try this place out. The food and the atmosphere look great at first, but not so great the next day.. Both her and I were so sick the next day. I have never felt like this before ever from sushi. We spent around $100 which is pricey but whatever so we called the manager. During the weekend , this pace doesnt even answer the phone, not even to take a reservation.. So we called again and finally, Mike the manager, called us back the next day,... This was the worst customer service I have ever seen, He told me liek he was right and the customer was wrong. He then proceeded to tell me that if i got sick then everyone esle there should have gotten sick as well. Well that would be great if the place was even full. There was like a couple people in there when we went there. So needless to say i will never go back to this place!! Overpriced and horrible customer service... You want good sushi for a better price with the best view of LA... go to Yamashiro

GARBAGE
Seemed like it would be a great place to take a date. I was completely wrong!! the service was horrible and they are all sticklers there. I felt like they kept trying to get an extra dollar out of me. I like to spend money at dinner but when someone is hassling me to order another plate when i am completely satisfied it can get annoying. The next morning my girlfriend also did not feel well at all, similar to another review I read. After reading the other review I thought to myself hmmm this might be an recurring thing. I would rather not take the risk to find out. OVER ALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND TENGU TO ANYONE AFTER A GOOD SUSHI DATE. Although I must say I liked the atmosphere.
