Wow, Sunstar has got to be the worst. I’m an 87 year old widower. I’ve had to fend for myself for almost 10 years now. I have seen a lot but never have experienced such a destructive group of people. They are borderline criminal. I’m surprised they are still in business and can survive with such low standards. I felt like asking them if I was on the Candid Camera TV show or something. Their employees were certainly not happy and nowhere close to being professional. At my age, it takes quite a bit to get me riled up and upset especially enough to type a complaint on a computer.

The extremely poor experience we had with Barbara Sheele is only surpassed by the frustrating low-quality service Sunstar Heating & Aire provided. We would NOT advise anyone to use this company. After realizing our mistake, we finally called George Brazil. They fixed all of the problems Barbara Sheele and Sunstar Heating and Aire created. It's really depressing to have to deal with this. See the dent on our unit they provided "free" of charge. This was next to a pile of trash they also left for us to clean up.

Barbara Sheele of SunStar Heating & Aire was at first pleasant. But she later turned rude and quite hostile towards us. She was quick to take our money, not so quick to resolve several issues. Her technicians left a mess. After their work, the unit doesn’t work properly.

To our great regret, we hired Barbara Sheele at Sunstar Heating and Aire to install a new air conditioning unit. Two days after the installation, the unit broke down. Yes, broke down and while it was over 100 degrees outside. Her comment was, “Are you sure?” “You should have called earlier.” “That’s the manufacturer’s responsibility”. “And let me know if you have any more problems and I will try to help…” Is this the type of company you want to install your air conditioner? I didn’t think so.

Sunstar Heating and Aire is a pretty unprofessional business. Every time, they showed up late. They said they'd be there at 10:30AM, they showed up at 11:30AM. They left a mess, cigarette butts, plastic, wires, garbage, candy wrappers, etc. . They changed their original price, to increase it of course. Then, didn't really fix the air conditioning unit. We called somebody else and it finally all worked out. We wouldn't even call Sunstar in an emergency. Just stay with relatives or need be in a hotel until we could get somebody else. Come to find out that the owners of Michael R. Sheele, Barbara A. Sheele and Kevin R. Sheele, have numerous IRS federal tax liens against them. Serial Number: 162700804 for $10,558.18, Serial Number: 869605888 for $2,466.50 and 869507621 for $12,530.09. IRS LIEN UNIT PHONE NUMBER: 1 800 829 7650. Also, Kevin R. Sheele the technician/owner that came out to my house, was convicted of drugs, Maricopa County Superior Court docket# CR2004-042993 and has an order of protection against him docket# CV1997-092299 CV1998-092447 CV2004-010717 CV2005-009949. You can go to Maricopa.gov under “Case History” and then “Criminal Cases” to find this info.

Sunstar Heating and Aire is not good. If I could give 0 stars i would. I've had problems with my AC from the day they installed my unit. I've called them every summer sometimes twice a summer but they never fix anything. They just put a "band aid" on it so it could last past the warranty and now after warranty they want to replace my coils and say its had a leak all along. Records indicate work that was never done. Manager is incompetent and I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Just wasted over $300 and the AC lasted for a month and now it's bad again. The unit Sunstar Heating and Aire installed never worked properly This company is a sham. Technicians always have a different story and the manager is incompetent. Really bad customer service. BE VERY CAREFUL.

We should have done our research. Sunstar Heating and Aire came to our house and did a terrible job. They left trash on the ground, they didn't do what they said they were going to do, etc.. We do NOT recommend this company to anyone. We hired a different company and our airconditioning unit works fine now.

Out of desperation, because nobody else was available, our family made the terrible mistake of calling these people. We should have gone to a hotel and contacted companies from there. Sunstar Heating and Aire installed a new unit and two days later it broke. Their response was, “Oh well, I guess you’ll have to buy another new one”. I instantly hung up and called somebody else. The new company fixed everything perfectly. Sunstar Heating and Aire is NOT a reliable company. I later found out that the owners of Michael R. Sheele, Barbara A. Sheele and Kevin R. Sunstar Heating and Aire is an extremly poor company. I would NOT recommend anyone do business with them. They tried to cheat our family out of money. They were constantly late. They also left a mess in the area. Our AC unit went out and we were desparate to get help. In Arizona, AC is a necessity not a luxury. It is no wonder why Sunstar had available time. We got stuck with them. We should have gone to a hotel and waited until a good company was available. Learn from our mistake or suffer the consequences.
