Always empty

I hate to say, but I think we're Sultan Palace's only customers. Every time that we've gone into the place it's been dead empty, save for us and the waitstaff. One would think that would make the waitstaff all the more attentive... not true. This is not to say that when they did appear that they weren't courteous or helpful, but when you did want them, they just weren't there.

Sultan Palace is Afghan cuisine, which is very similar to Indian, but different in seasonings used. The food we had was very very good, and I would highly recommend the meat sambossas. The rest was good as well, but the portions are very small. In other words, the portions are appropriate for any country other than America, where we eat much more per serving than other cultures.

All in all, the restaurant was good, but very empty. The ambience is great if you choose to sit on the floor, otherwise, it looks a bit like a diner gone wrong.
