Top quality baked goods with better prices than the nearby and better know Larsen's. Friendly staff and good selection. Worth looking for parking on fifteenth.

Marzipan Cake - WOW!
I don't like marzipan (an almond paste candy sort of thing), but this bakery makes a cake with a very thin layer of marzipan over the top of the frosting that is out of this world. The cake has the texture of sponge cake, the frosting is not too sweet, and you can choose what type of fruit filling you want (I like the apricot). I served it at a party and almost all of the woman had seconds on cake. How often does that happen?

Don't bother
I have been to this bakery 3 times, each time I was treated very rudely by the ladies who work here. The last time (and it will be the LAST time! ) I noticed that customers who appeared to be "regulars" were waited on very "sweetly" and cordially while I, not being a "regular" was treated like I perhaps wandered in by mistake. I kid you not, the lady literally looked down her nose at me!!!! I have lived in the area since 1986 and this treatment has appeared from the beginning so I have to assume "rudeness" is part of their training.Worldwide > United States > Seattle, WA > Bakeries
