Bradley Price, MD

Dr. Bradley B. Price is a leading OB-GYN practicing in Austin, Texas. He provides his patients with a wide variety of services including annual exams, pap smear tests, birth control services, STD testing, menopause management treatments, hormone replacement therapies, and an innovative weight management program that does not rely on drugs or supplements. Dr. Price aims to help all of his patients lead healthier and more active lifestyles to promote better overall health and well-being.
After growing up in Austin, Dr. Bradley B. Price went to Stanford University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed a residency in ob-gyn at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He has practiced in Austin since 1977 and is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Price has won the Patients’ Choice Award (2013-2015), the On-Time Doctor Award (2014-2015) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014-2015).
Dr. Price believes that pregnancy, labor, and delivery are natural processes and that the less intervention with nature the better. He works to help women maintain health and well-being throughout pregnancy to improve natural labor and delivery. He believes that good nutrition and regular aerobic exercise are essential to a healthy pregnancy and delivery and take a holistic approach to focus on healthy lifestyle choices, rather than medical treatment. Dr. Price’s patients benefit from his whole body approach to a healthy pregnancy and delivery and his dedication to ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s life are cared for as she transitions to motherhood.
Dr. Price's interests include exercise as medicine, exercise in pregnancy, and triathlons. He completed the Hawaii Ironman in 2001 and 2003. In 2012 he won the world championship for his age group in Ironman 70.3. Dr. Price and his wife Inez have two sons, Stephen, a radiologist in Austin, and Matthew, a full-time musician.
