Effective but unpleasant, controlling and inconsistent
We came to this business for allergy elimination treatments (NAET). The treatments did work.

Very pleasant and professional, Thumbs up!
I came to NHC in March 2009 and have been very happy with my level of care and the professionalism of the staff and practioners. I came in for weight loss treatment and have never felt so comfortable and cared for, ever! Nicole was very thorough in her assesment of my treatment needs and was extremely clear about her recommendations and the costs. My primary care doctor has never spent as much time gathering information to assess my problems. I have followed her treatment plan and have acheived results. The great thing is my progress has been gradual which has allowed me to adopt the lifestyle that will ensure me long term success. I have never had a bad experience and feel the peaceful loving environment is conducive to healing. Bottom line is I feel better and I am grateful to have found Natural Health Center.

not the needleprick of the litter
I am done going to this clinic. I have on more than one occasion showed up for my "confirmed" appointment to find out I was: 1.Double booked 2. My appointment was canceled or deleted from the system, 3. The person I requested to treat me was unavailable.

I would rate this place lower than "Terrible"
The biggest problem with this place is who owns it. I found the staff (with the exception of 2) rude, uncaring and off purpose. There are too many examples of bad to list so here are some highlights:

Great allergy treatments and more!
I appreciate the fact that they have worked me in on days when I NEED treatment. The 'allergy elimination' program is easy and has been very helpful. I used to have allergies almost year round, now, I hardly ever am affected. I still have a few more NAET treatments to do, and bet then I will be 99% allergy free. At least that is my opinion, compared to my before and after. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Compared to waits at regular doctors, when I used to go to them, the wait is almost non existent. Thank you NHC.

Very Professional
I went to this clinic for my allergies. Niclole was very thorough in her evaluation!! I feel the NAET (Nanbutripad's allery elimination technique) has been helpful in reducing my allergies. I am still having treatments, so I'm not finished yet. I also did the clinic's weight reduction program. I lost 20 lbs in about 6-7 weeks and have not gained any weight back. I also felt it was an easy program for me to follow.

Let the healing begin!
The caretakers at The Natural Health Center of Austin are dedicated to helping you solve your medical problems, not just medicate symptoms. Since starting my treatment with NHCA, I have been able to stop taking all the medications prescribed to me by western doctors. I now take natural, herbal supplements that are much safer and just as effective. I have lost almost 10 pounds, and my stress level has decreased significantly. Melissa, Nicole, and Kim are very warm and professional. The office is convenient, clean, and welcoming. I am very happy with my NHCA experience. The natural health path takes time, commitment, patience, and funding. But the positive effects are long-lasting and well worth your time, energy, and funds.

Heal your body instead of masking symptoms
I came to the Natural Health Center of Austin (NHC) in July 2009 with food sensitivities, pollen and other allergies, and lack of energy. Nicole performed a careful evaluation of my problems and developed a program of acupuncture and NAET (allergy elimination) treatments to address them. I gradually became more energetic and was relieved of my allergies and food sensitivities. I was able to stop taking three prescriptions that were prescribed by western doctors and instead began taking a chinese herbal combination. More recently, I began suffering insomnia. I received an insomnia acupuncture treatment the same day I called for an appointment. I purchased a "deep sleeper" herbal tincture to support me in sleeping through the night. The insomnia acupuncture treatment and herbs have been a lifesaver for allowing me to get necessary rest.
