Great family ophthalmologist
Dr. Lesser has been our eye doctor for years, he's like family now. He's empathetic, honest, and extremely caring. He and his staff are friendly and very accomodating in terms of helping re-order contacts, follow-up on appointments, and just generally being all about patient care. When I had an emergency issue with an infection in one eye, Dr. Lesser called me in the evening (from home) to make sure I was doing okay.

Wow, what a difference! After removing a piece of metal from my eye, the doctor made sure I recovered fully. He and his staff made me feel so cared for. Later, I returned for a complete exam and he updated my eyeglass prescription. He's got a gal that made me an awesome pair of sunglasses for a great price and changed the lenses in my regular glasses, saving me money again! I can't say enough about this office. It is hard to find reasonable prices AND great service anywhere these days, I am delighted to find MY eye doctor at Samaritan Eye Care!

Office Staff is to be avoided!!!!
Dr. Lesser is nice & knowledgable but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired! The clerk insisted I didn't know my own insurance (got a letter- she was wrong) and they kept me from my daughter. When I finally pushed through the elderly assistant woman 50 minutes later (& I had been asking how she was) I found my daughter sobbing! Then when I called back days later to reschedule they told me,the doctor thinks she should wait six months until she's calmed down. RUDE!! My daughter just wanted her mom around but instead she was isolated in a teeny, tiny closet to try and put contacts in herself for the first time.
