Beware Suffolk Orthopedic
I had knee replacement surgery with a doctor of this practice about a year ago. Because the Dr did such a horrible job I'll now have the opportunity to have this surgery again because he used an incorrectly sized knee replacement in the first place. It gets better...after experiencing much pain the group insisted that I have an EMG procedure to make sure that it was the replacement knee giving me the trouble in the first place. Their doctor Matthew Kalter did this test after they told me they would "take care of me" and don't worry about the cost. I could have had this test done by one of the doctors in my plan and it would have been fully covered. I made a mistake in trusting them and believing that "I was taken care of", now I have a $3,000 bill for an EMG that I can't afford to pay. Thus not only are the doctors poorly trained money grubbing hacks, but they don't live up to their promises. I've made attempts to reach their billing people on numerous occassions but they never do return a phone call. As a consumer I cannot recommend this practice or any of their doctors in any way. I'm writing this so no one else makes the same mistake that I did. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...anywhere else.Worldwide > United States > Bay Shore, NY > Doctors
