I've been going to Mary Kay for about 6 months now and feel so lucky to have found someone who I know can perform electrolysis properly. Prior to seeing Mary Kay, I bounced around with a few others within the local area for about 2-3 months that claim to be very experienced in electrolysis, only to have prolonged redness & inflammation that would last days after treatment, as well as darkening, and in some cases, even thicker hair growing in the treated area (upper lip). I also felt as if the others were simply pluking the hairs out, or in some cases, leaving the treated hair behind which would cause pimpling. At first, I wasn't sure if this was to be expected, since I've never been treated before and have very sensitive skin. Though after leaving them and starting my first treatment with Mary Kay, I immediately noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference. First off, with Mary's treatment, I don't feel like my hair is being ripped out. I only have slight redness for about an hour after treatment before the treated area is back to normal. My skin is now much smoother and the darkening left from my previous treatment with others went away within a few weeks. Mary also has a lot more attention to detail, and doesn't miss obvious hairs. Over the last 6 months, I have made significant progress and no longer need such frequent treatments. Mary Kay is a diamond in the rough in this area... I strongly recommend going to her, and not risking improper treatment and potential long term damage from others. I'm so happy I found someone I can trust!
