ok italian food
I just thought this was a mediocre restaurant. I have been their three times and have tried three different dishes that really didn't impress me. I found their food to be overly salty and at times cold. Their prices are also quite high for the amount and quality of the food. I even brought a friend to Maria's for lunch one time because she wanted to try it, well she too didn't care for their food for the same reasoning. I can't remember what she had, but it was some sort of chicken dish. She said ti was dry and tough. Also, the first time I went their there was a fly in one of my ice cubes...tacky.

Maria's is BARELY Satisfactory
I hate to give a lower than satisfactory rating, but feel I must do so when reviewing this restaurant. The ambiance is nice, but the prices are too high for pasta! The food is okay, but not outstanding. The first time we went here, I had a basic spaghetti dish. The portion was fairly small and the price was fairly high. The next time I went back was the same story. I believe I tried some lasagna, and it was pretty good, but not outstanding by any means, and priced too high for the small portion that was served.Worldwide > United States > Santa Barbara, CA > Pizza
