LOVE IT!
I LOVED IT!! I had a facial for the very 1st time today! It was amazing! Everyone there was super sweet and welcoming. Nothing like I always imagined an upscale spa would be like. I will for sure be going back and more than once!

GREAT!!!
I just visited Votre today for the first time to get my hair cut and styled. I absolutely love this place. Everyone is super nice and wonderful. I will definitely become a frequent visitor of Votre!!!

Just okay
The spa is beautifully decorated, but we had a few problems. We booked a party for 5 of us to spend the day at the spa. The prices were reasonable and everyone was friendly. The facial was the worst facial I have ever had. The girl would put something on my face then just let it sit for 10 minutes or so, then wipe it off. Every other time I have had a facial it has been very relaxing and included massaging, extractions, exfoliating, etc. This person literally put two creams on my face, wiped them off,put me under a steam machine, then sent me on my way (for $92!) We paid for an hour facial each and the longest we received was 40 minutes. The massage on the other hand was wonderful, best massage ever. The girl was great and very professional. Manis/Pedis were fair - I was bummed that they cannot do tips there and our technician seemed very distracted - she kept knocking things over, and tripping, etc. For our hair, everyone was happy with the results but due to a mistake on their end

Votre Spa Salon is very cosmopolitian
I purchased hair products.I found my visit there was very personal and the quality of service was excellent and upscale. I am very satisfied and get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. I think it is Birmingham and the surrounding areas best.

I unfortunately lost a gift certificate from Votre.. I found it, but it was expired by two weeks. I called the salon to ask if they would honor the gift... I had to call them back... they would not honor the gift...not only would they not honor the gift, I was treated with utter rudeness and contempt for even asking the question. This is just a hair salon for goodness sake...it would have been quite simple for them to honor this gift... instead, I am writing this review of this salon which in hugely lacking in common courtesy, civility and manners. I WILL NOT EVER recommend this salon to anyone.

Votre is the best salon in the Birmingham area!
I have been going to Votre Spa and Salon for almost three years now. I must say that Katherine Holmes is the best hair stylist they have. I have been to a myriad other hair salons, and no one does it like Katherine. If you are fairly particular or have finely textured hair, Katherine knows exactly how to make it work! She also does wonderful formal hairstyles and classy makeup. The mani/pedi lady (Doll) seems a bit distracted, but she does an excellent job. One time, she messed up very slightly on one of my nails. She proceeded to take the polish off and re-do it. Another day, I needed a special 1920s hairstyle (pin curls) for a theater play I was in. Katherine was almost done with my hair, but she didn't like how the curls were doing. She automatically started over and apologized for the extra time. This kind of attention to detail, and reliability to admit minor mistakes is what I look for in a salon. Many places will just get you in and get you out, but Votre is especially concernWorldwide > United States > Alabaster, AL > Day Spas
