A Woman’s Wellspring is the only women’s health practice of its kind. At the office in Carmel, California, experienced physician and women’s wellness specialist Stephanie Taylor MD, PhD, helps patients refresh, renew, and focus on healing in an unhurried, comfortable, and supportive environment. 

Dr. Taylor earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. With both an MD and PhD, Dr. Taylor possesses unique medical credentials that are rare among physicians today. 

In addition to obstetrics and gynecology, her areas of expertise include psychology, behavioral genetics, neurochemistry, and complementary medicine practices. She blends all of these areas together to provide the highest quality women’s health care at A Woman’s Wellspring. 

Dr. Taylor was one of the first MDs to be certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine. She acts as a primary care physician for her patients, providing holistic care for women. The practice welcomes transgender patients and provides respectful and empathetic attention to all patients, regardless of their identity and path in life. 

All office visits are scheduled for an hour, so they’re never rushed, and patients don’t feel hurried. Dr. Taylor uses a comprehensive approach to medical care, providing patients with everything they need for optimal wellness in one place.
