Nice place
This is a very nice-looking restaurant. The service is very good. The food is alright, nothing to write home about, and the home-brewed beer is a little thin-tasting. It's passable German fare served in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend this for large groups (15 - 30 people). After a few big, cheap beers, it seems great.Great Tiem
We went to dinner her over the past weekend (a party of 6) and had a WONDERFUL time. There was a German band playing, the waitress was wonderful, very pleasant, the food was delicious! We lived in Germany for 4 years and this was almost like being back there. I highly recommend it. It was a bit pricy, but well worth the cost. We will definately go again.Excellent Beer, Authentic Cuisine
Royal Bavaria serves authentic German food in a wondeful setting but is first and foremost a brewery. The beer here is some of the best I've ever had. While the selection is limited (there are only three beers served) the freshness, body and distinctive flavor of each beer more than compensates.Great food, amazing beer and an authentic German atmosphere.
One of our favorite restaurants! It's almost an hour drive from my home but it's worth every minute. The menu is extensive and it should be easy to please even the most picky eaters. I can't say enough about the beer. Fresh, unique, delicious. They even serve it in a 2L boot! Occasional live music and a great atmosphere for a large group or a couple.Royal Bavaria Brewery & Restaurant
A very disappointing dining experience. While the service was ok, the food was underdone, overpriced and sadly lacking in taste or authenticity.Extremely Authentic and well worth a visit
Having been stationed in Germany and growing up in a German Household, I have VERY high standardsTHIS IS GREMAN FOOD AT IS FINEST
Being of Norwegian decent and having most of my family still living there and in Rostock (Northern Germany) I have a flavor of home and try to get it every time I am out of town (Dallas being home now). I have got to say that being in OKC I was surprised to find this place and am glad I did. Service was stellar and the food was spectacular, I had a pretzel for an appetizer (suggested by my server Christopher) and the Schwabischer Sauerbraten mit Spatzle und Bankrupt (po. roast for those in USA). we just called it ?Souerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings? with a side of potato salad. Truly amazed that this is how they plate it as well. This was really a taste of my family home. I have the opportunity to travel the US in my job and with the exception of 2 other places I do not think I would even take the time to write about (one being in Minnesota and the other in Ft Lauderdale) Who would expect that this kind of service and flavor could come from OKC? Truly the last place I would have looked for Great German food.almost but not quite
I had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately, that was dispelled as soon as I walked in. The fact that they require you to surrender your drivers license to hold for ransom if you order the "boot" of beer is completely absurd. There response was "people steal the glasses"... Ok, so how about selling them so we won't have to steal them. Sure, for 100 bucks!!!! Are you kidding, what a missed marketing opportunity as well as a huge turn-off assuming that all of us are petty thieves.Wonderful hand crafted food & beer
This is a very fun place to go. My friends ALWAYS have to go there whenever they are in town. The food is very, very good and there is such a huge variety. After having visited Germany twice in the past 5 years, there are several dishes I can honestly say that I prefer to those had in Germany. From their sausages to their schnitzel to rinderlad (sp?), ham shanks, trout, roasted chicken, etc...it is ALL good and very authentic from a German Master Chef.Worldwide > United States > Oklahoma City, OK > Restaurants
