Unlike other thrift stores, Island Thrift puts forth an extra effort to make the shopping experience pleasant and interesting for its bargain-hunting customers. Clothes are cleaned, pressed and sorted according to type. Some clothes are also new. They are then hung within the many rows of racks with different colored labels. The creative thing about the labels is that they offer daily 50% off sales, based on the color of the day. In addition to clothing items, they also sell accessories, housewares, books, toys and furniture. It may be worth your trip.

I love this store!
Best thrift store on the Island. I live in Nassau County and none of the thrift stores in my area come close to Island Thrift. They have a wide selection of clothing, shoes, electronics, baby items and more. I am plus sized and I had an easy time finding what I needed. Two thumbs up for Island Thrift!
