This Has ItUlta has the best selection of cosmetics and beauty products around and all at reasonable prices. Some of the lines are more expensive in par with department store prices, but overall, it's geared toward the mid-range price level. Alos, signing up with their frequent buyer program gets you good values and discounts.
Ulta 3 Cosmetics on Clark St.This store carries everything you would find at your favorite salon, however, there is usually a 15-20% off coupon in the Sunday Trib that can save you tons of money. There is also a frequent shopper card program that can save more over time.
A STUDENT COULD CUT MY HAIR BETTERThis salon is not recommended for the simplest of cutting and styling. The stylists here are just as bad if not worse than student stylists still attending cosmetology college. I have had my hair cut a few times at a training schools for the cheap prices and they did a better job. The prices are not as cheap as other discount styling salons, so I would not recommend this place for even a trim.
Great price with their couponsI like to buy my basic make up here, because they always send me a $3.50 off $10 including clearance items, so you can get a lot of things from their sales using their coupons. The ULTA line offer make up like lipstics, eye shadow, brushes, along with body care like spray, lotion and shower gel. They often put them on sale like buy one get one free. They also sells perfumes, which go on sale often too. I would recommend people going here because they give you reward if you spend certain amount of money and they send you coupons from almost monthly.
Bad eyebrow waxing!I received the worst brow waxing of my life at the Clark Street location of Ulta. My left brow was waxed bare on the half closet to my ear; my right brow was not. My left brow was waxed on the top; my right brow was not. I was frankly afraid to have him even fix it and figured I could do a better job with tweezers at home. Additionally, he spilled a glob of wax in my hair which I now must figure out how to remove. Not pleased!
