Terrible Service
I am highly unsatisfied with the service at this restaurant. The waiter seemed oblivious and as if he didn't really care for his customer. After ordering our drinks, it took nearly 20 minutes for them to be served. We then ordered after...

Beautiful
I am disappointed in the last 2 reviews of Bogey Inn! I went there last weekend for a few drinks and was amazed at the transformation! They have a great patio with nicer tables and bar with TV's, beautiful bar inside as well as...

By far the worst experience in 56 years
Saying the service was bad would be the understatement of the century. "Waitress" was extremely unprofessional. Had no idea of what kind of wine or liquor was available. After we found out what was available. The drinks took forever plus my Crown Royal and my wifes wine were served in plastic cups. When I paid for my drinks, the "waitress" returned with my change and informed me that they didn't have any change smaller than 1 dollar so she had to short me 49 cents. When I looked at the change she gave me it was short an additional 5 dollars. When I brought this to her attention she made up the difference but took a very non chalant no big deal attitude. Our "waitress" did not even ask us if we wanted to see menu. After about 15 minutes. Another employee asked us if we wanted to see a menu. We said yes and he immediately brought us a menu. we then ordered a pizza. We never saw the "waitress" again until after the employee that took our order had checked with us and asked us if we were waiting for anything. When we told that employee that we had ordered a pizza. He immediately went to the kitchen and came back and told us that it would be a few more minutes. After a few minutes that employee returned with our pizza and asked us if we would like a fork or anything else and returned immediately with our silverware. Still no "waitress". After we had finished our pizza. The other employee returned to our and asked us if we wanted anything else and if he could remove our plates which he did immediately. Still no waitress. The "waitress" finally did return with our bill for the pizza. Upon returning with our receipt and change with the same story of no change smaller than 1 dollar and in a very smart alec tone informed me that this time my change was correct. After she left the table I discovered that she had shorted us 2 dollars. When I asked to speak to a manger. Someone claiming to be the owner came to our table with a definite aggresive attitude and asked me in a very short and terse way what the problem was I explained that his "waitress" had shorted us twice. His response was that it must have been an accident. My response was that I could believe that the first time was an accident. But after the second time it was nothing but bullshit. His response was watch tour language. What a cop out. The music they were playing had much worse language than bullshit. He left the table with my receipt. Meanwhile the waitress returned with the rest of our change. The so called manager then returned with two of his Bouncers (goons) and after I informed him that the "waitress" had corrected the "mistake". He proceeded to kick myself and my wife out and had his to goons "escort" us out of the building. Which wasn't really necessary since we had no desire what so ever to stay. I suggest that you avoid the Bogey inn like the plague. In my opinion. The "waitress" was no better than a thief. And probably was banking on the assumption that that many customers don't pay that much attention to the change they receive. Just my opinion on the "waitresses" intentions. But a dollar here a dollar there on a busy night could amount to a decent take. The rest of my comments are factual. By the way the pizza was very good and enjoyable. None the less. I would not recommend the Bogey Inn to my worst enemy let alone anyone else. If I had to give the Bogey Inn an honest rating. Instead of the lowest (1 star) I would give it a rating equal to a black hole

Too Bad
We thought we would give the Bogey a try even after reading the older reviews. The parking lot appeared to be busier in the last couple of weeks and so we were hoping issues had been addressed. Not so.
We received our drink orders right after placing our food order. The couple we were with both ordered salads. Hers came after 20 minutes, 10 mins. before the food. His was forgotten and then brought 4 mins before their food. They waited 10 mins after we received our orders before getting theirs. Our orders were not difficult. 3 Fish and Chips and a sub sandwich. Our waitress came by once and asked if we needed anything, all the while seeing our drink glasses were empty and the salad plates were piled at the end of the table. We cleared off our own table by putting the used dishes on the table across from us that was empty and still had bottles and dishes on it. Still had to ask for refills. Our dinners were OK. Bill drink orders were messed up. Our waitress was not friendly or very professional.
I was really sorry to have this experience. We have been Dublin residents for 25 years and know the important role the Bogey played for the community year round. If you just go to drink or play volleyball, you probably won't notice the bad service.

Unbelievably, the service was worse than the food!
Dec. 5, 2009 marks the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had. Unfortunatley, this requires you to rate with a least one star or it would get none. The Bogey is back open for business, but I don't know how it will stay open based on the service we received. We had 2 different servers/bartenders waiting on us....one was nice, the other was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! It took about 45 minutes to get our food. My wife asked for her salad before her meal and it came out 5 minutes before our food, also 40 minutes after she ordered it. The reuben was burnt and our friend's grilled chese (which is hard to mess up) was burnt also. When we received our bills we were charged for an extra beer and our friends were charged for 2 extra beers (4 of us ordered 2 beers each, so it's not that hard to count). The nice waitress took off the added beverages. When the other waitress can back to our table she asked for the empty glasses and rudely said I will take the empties of the beers you "actually" drank. All of us were shocked that she openly accused us of lying. We still bit our tongues and started walking out and our friend politley thanked the nice waitress for being so nice. Well the rude waitress over heard that and thought we were completely out of the room when she said condesendingly "yeah, thanks for being so nice." I over heard and appoached her finally and she called me a liar about how many drinks we ordered. She then continued to argue back and forth with me - in front of customers - and said that she has been in the industry for years and she knows how to count (if she has done this for years you think she would be better at her job). I also commented on how long it took to get our food and she said does it look like I cook, I just serve drinks. At that point I was furious and asked for the manager and she said he was busy. I demanded to see him. He just smiled at me like he did not care and said he will take my comments into consideration and said thank you for your business. I am the one who almost never complains, but you know it must of been bad if I decide to write a review on here. That completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night with dinner and the zoo lights. Steer clear of this place if you want service that unbelievably was worse than the food - oh and pay attention to your bill.

worst resttaurant i have ever been to
we went to the Bogey because a friend suggested it and it was close to our new home. By far the worst food and service I have ever experienced. Food took 45 minutes and there were only 4 or 5 tables. Server had no explanation, just said that the kitchen was backed up. Food was cold and everything tasted horrible. Cheese on pizza was spoiled, and coleslaw was sour. I don't know how they stay open. Asked to see manager and server said everything was free tonight but the manager was too busy.

Not good
Food was terrible. My family was set for a night out and was very dissappointed in the quality of food for the price. Do not waste your time and money going to the Bogey. I'll never go back. I'm guessing this place will go out of business soon.

Best Place in Dublin
Short wait, very friendly hostesses, happy servers, great food. I had so much fun! Everyone is having a good time and it really shows. My friends & I enjoyed ourselves and we're coming back next week for girls night. Next week we're bringing our flip flops and hitting the five huge sand volleyball courts. We can drink and play sand volleyball-looking forward to it already!

Best pub in Dublin!
Hometown pub, but a bit more upscale. Glass ceiling dining room has an open air feel, and the most enormous patio I've ever seen! Friendly service, amazing food, great prices. My boyfriend had the ribs (he almost licked the plate), and I had the tomato pesto and mozzarella sandwich-a vegetarian's dream! I am recommending this place to all of my friends!

Horrible food and service
By far, the worst food and service in Columbus area. Ordered fish and chips and strip steak. Everything was cold, steak overcoooked, mashed potatoes tasted like they were made 3 days ago. No manager to be found anywhere. No wonder there was no more than 5 or 6 people eating in entire restaurant. I will never return.

Not great.
It certainly wasn't as great as we thought it would be. The first booth we sat at had sticky seats. We moved to a different table, and saw that the flatware wasn't completely spotless either. Service was good but nothing outstanding - my soda glass sat empty for quite a while before it was refilled. Husband's beer wasn't ice cold. The food was good but, again, not amazing: my fish and chips were decent enough, although cod would have been preferable to grouper, and some more chips wouldn't have been bad either. The microscopic side of coleslaw, however, tasted wonderful. Husband's seared tuna was excellent, but was let down by the accompanying undercooked rice. All in all, not a horrible experience, but definitely not a fantastic one either. Oh, and soda is an outrageous $1.95.
