not the best
I've been to Shoku a few times and I have no complaints about the food, but the service is terrible. On a slow Sunday we waited foreveeeeeeer for our check and practically everything else. It was painful.

Won't make this mistake again.
2 for dinner outside. Requested a table with umbrella, but told only for parties of 4. 10 minutes later party of 2 seated at larger table with Umbrella. Patio never filled up.

such a disappointment
I had such high hopes for Shoku, as it came with good recommendations from friends in the Grandview area. I now have to conclude they know nothing about sushi.
