BOBBI & GUY AND THEIR STYLIST TOMMY MORGAN ARE TERRIBLE! I wanted a new hair color so I talked to Tommy Morgan at the Kapolei salon. I had photos so he could see exactly what I wanted which he said he could do. I went back and he told me it would cost $70 for the coloring but ended up charging me $150. In addition, he ruined my hair color. It was terrible so I asked him if he would fix it because I've always been told that if a stylist screws up your hair, you should have him fix it because there's a less chance of damaging your hair further. I also didn't complain because I needed him to correct the bad color job.



I had to wait four days to go back and when I did he was very rude; in fact, he insisted that my color correction be done in the back shampoo area instead of up-front section like normal. I was very nice because, after all, he was doing my hair again, but he was very angry and purposefully ruined my hair. He literally stripped my hair of all of its color except for two hideous, huge dark brown sections that he put at the top of my hair.



I had to show up at Bobbi's salon at Ward to force them to fix the bad color which Bobbi did. Neither Bobbi nor her son Guy, who is also a manager that I spoke with while there, ever apologized for my ruined hair or the treatment that I received. In fact, Guy told me how much business Tommy did for them and that he was their biggest moneymaker in Kapolei. They also did not say anything about me being overcharged. It was apparent that money is more important to them than good service and a good reputation.



Two months later one of Tommy's customers told me that he had told her and his other customers that he thought it was funny that he ruined my hair. He said that he was angry because I wanted him to fix it and that I should have just lived with the first color until it grew out.



I have had to cut off most of my hair because it broke off in chunks and my scalp burned and itched for three months. It is several months later and my hair is still damaged and will not hold color yet. Now I have to wait until all of the hair that he colored grows out because it is so damaged. I would NEVER return to this stylist or salon again. He is the worst stylist I have ever experienced. I am not the type to sue someone but I do take comfort in knowing that karma will pay him back for his mistreatment.

ONE BAD WAXING DOES NOT THE WORST SALON IN HI MAKE

My hairdresser Bre works out of this salon & she is FABULOUS. Considered a master cutter in her last place, I followed her when she felt it was time to move on & have been very happy with her work for more than 5 years now. Her waxing is professional & detailed, & I always leave feeling clean and attractive. I like to experiment with color (in a good way). Bre is imaginative and creative in this area (if you allow her to be) & I have never been disappointed. The young ladies at the front desk are always helpful and pleasant, too. BTW, if I went somewhere to be waxed & was presented with an aesthetitian without eyebrows I would run like he!! to someone with eyebrows instead of condemning the whole establishment.

WORST SALON IN HAWAII

i went in to get waxed and it was by far the worst idea ever.

here's how it went;

-i got a lady who drew in her eyebrows. there was no hair visible whatsoever, IRONIC much?

-i got two cuts on each eye from her pinching me with tweezers

-she had me sit up during the wax and spilled wax all over my lashes.

-she couldn't get my eyebrows arched the way i wanted them

-she made them ROUNDED and thin

-my eyebrows were uneven! even after she fixed them the second time



it isn't a good deal for $15+ if you're in aiea/pearlridge, try palazio or fantastic sam's or mastercuts - NEVER GO TO SALON BOBBI & GUY



rethink about coming here and receiving a good job, just because they seem like an up-there salon!
