hit or miss ... recently miss!

A few years ago, i would usually get a good cut here. In the past 6 months, usually get a BAD cut.

I live down the street from here so its my usual spot. And let me tell you something they do the job right. And its only like $30 for a mens hair cut.

Well worth the wait and the money

I have been there atleast 4 times in the past 7 months and wouldn't go anywhere else! I have always had a different stylist and every time I have walked out completely satisfied! It is well worth the $26. My girlfriend goes there as well to get her hair cut and colored there as well! She only had one problem and that was that the color she wanted didn't come out the way she thought it was so she went back the next day and the girl fixed it for free! It is a great atmosphere with awesome music!

LOVE MY SWINGING BOB!!!!!!

Been getting my hair cut in Hollywood for years, and finally found someone I would return to, (I'm a bit of a hair whore) I was ready for a classic cut, and I got it. A sharp edged bob..LOVE IT. and thank you Eric for getting rid of those grown out , bleached out highlights. If you need some one with an eye for natural color and percise hair cuts.. Run don't walk to Rudys..and ask for Eric Locosta

inexpensive haircut with lots of atmosphere

This barber shop located in silverlake is always filled with young hipsters milling about. The wait time can be long but it is possible to call ahead and put your name on a wait list. There are both men and women stylists and the haircut is around twenty dollars. Sometimes they can be a bit brisk and rush you out of your chair but It is a fun place toi hang out and get a cut.

hip haircut

This is a fun place to get a cool haircut. The quality can very depending on the stylist and they tend to be very hurried, but the atmosphere of the standard can't be beat. the wait can be long especially on the weekends and evenings but they go through people pretty quickly. They will give you something pretty edgy if you want, they do good mohawks, faux-hawks and everything in between. A good spot for guys.

Not at all what I asked for

The convenience of calling ahead and putting yourself on a list is nice but when I showed up when they told me to, I had to wait another 30 minutes. Rudy's has 4 stations with 4 stylists, and it was NOT clean. I told my sylist I wanted a trim (clean up the layers). Instead, he chopped very short layers in my hair that turned out very uneven and hard to manage. He was rather unpleasant and rude when I questioned what he was doing to my hair. You are exchanging quality for cost. If you care at all about your style, stay away from Rudy's.

cut above the rest

Rudy's offers a great place for a cheap cut while hanging in a cool, casual environment. There are no appointments, but call ahead of time to put your name on the list, if you don't want to wait long. If you have to wait, grab a drink at the pool and enjoy the beautiful sights.
