Puppy Murders

This hole of a petshop is filthy and not fit for fish, let alone dogs. They sell sick puppies that die. Then you get the purchase price of the dog back in store credit and that dog dies. At the end of all of the loops they put you through, you have owned 2 dead puppies and $1000's in med bills. I hope they go out of business. They were on the news for their bad wrap! DON'T Use them.

Great Puppies, Great Prices, Great Store!

This is the best pet store around. They have been in business since the 1990's. My family just purchased a yorkie puppy from this store and we truly love her to death. We recommend this store to everyone. I just wonder if the previous review was maybe a disgruntled employee or something! Their prices are reasonable. The puppies are healthy and the sales people are knowledgable. The store is clean. I'm sure if they were so horrible, they would not have been in business this long. How many pet stores are left? Not many! The prices of their puppies were a third of what other stores ask. Forget about breeders you find in the newspaper. Many live like pigs and their puppies have no guarantee. Just try calling with a problem later, they dont answer the phone or tell you sorry there is nothing we can do! Check out Puppy Palace, you will be pleasantly surprised!

I'd buy from them again

I went to Puppy Palace after a previous puppy purchase fell through just to see what they had to offer. I was surprised by how many different breeds they had at the time. I ended up impulsively purchasing a dachshund mix and couldn't be happier with my decision. The price was great-only $350!
The little guy unfortunately had kennel cough and ear mites when I bought him (which really isn't uncommon for pet store puppies). The sales person was very up front about this and didn't try to hide any health issues. She directed me to a local vet that they work with who would examine him and if any health problems were found, Puppy Palace would foot the bill (for the medications too!)
Puppy palace is going to be the first place I go for my next puppy purchase-hightly recommend it to others as well

BUYER BEWARE

DO NOT buy a puppy from this place. They make you sign a health waver saying they arent responsible for any health problems your puppy may have because OBVIOUSLY they deal with puppy mill breeders who sell them dogs that have been in-bred and come out with lots of genetic problems. I LOVE MY DOG and would do anything in the world for her...even pay for a $3000 surgery she now needs due to poor breeding practices. My puppy is 8 months old and has already had to undergo an excruciating surgery because of hip dysplasia....will not get reimbursed by these idiots for my dog and our familys pain and suffering.

Horrible, horrible place...NOT A PALACE AT ALL!!!!

Please, please do NOT purchase a puppy from this filthy place!!!

My boyfriend and I decided on an impulse one day to purchase a puppy. The only place that was remotely close was this Puppy Palace. We should have known this could end up in disaster since it smelled horrible the second we walked in. Even so, we proceeded to go look at the puppies that they had. They were all very cute, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to play with a couple. One puppy in particular caught our eye. She was very scared and jumpy at first but we were assured that it was only because she just arrived at the pet shop the day before.

This led to a purchase of an adorable, black and white, Toy Fox/Pom mix that we named Olive! We had her for four days before we started noticing that something was JUST NOT RIGHT!! We took her to the Vet immediately and they ran some tests. Come to find out, she had PARVO!! We hospitalized her for three days hoping that she would be able to fight this horrible virus. Unfortunately, she was too tiny to survive. You see, she was only two months old and only weighed 3lbs.

Symptoms of PARVO do not show up for at least 7- 10 days after the virus enters the body...this is how I know she obviously had the virus when we purchased her.

The problems that I have with this place are:

It is unfit for any animal to be housed in.

They most definitely get their puppies from PUPPY MILLS!! (my dog had yellow stains on its feet, half way up her legs from the urine that she probably stood in for days at a time)

They make you sign a waiver saying that you cannot return or get any refund for your puppy, even if they are the ones to blame. (This is definitely not the first time they have sold a sick puppy to someone)

I called to warn them that my dog had been hospitalized for PARVO and that they should test all of the dogs that they currently had. They pushed back not once, but twice saying that their puppies weren't showing any symptoms!! It made me sick to my stomach!!!

I hope that if you are reading this review, that you will NOT PURCHASE a puppy from this place! I have now turned them over to the Animal Protective Services and they will be getting an unexpected visit...hopefully, it will be the time that this place gets shut down FOREVER!!
