a dive
I stopped in here on the way back from Ellensburg with a buddy, and this place is a dive. It is more of a bar than anything, and I was not very comfortable sitting down for even just a beer. We got out of there pretty quick.

Yummy food, good service
Despite the previous review, our family really likes The North Bend Bar & Grill. The service is good, the food is yummy, and it is an overall clean establishment. The cleanliness has gone down just a tad, since we've been frequenting this restaurant, but all in all is still good. In fact, the bathrooms are always clean which is a good sign of the cleanliness of a restaurant's kitchen. I LOVE their blue cheese salad, the iced tea is good, the burgers, quesadillas, and nachos are always great as well as the more grown up food. It is a great place to take the kids as the dining environment is kid friendly. A portion of the restaurant (to the right of where you enter) is a bar, but to the left and the counter seating is all part of the restaurant. All in all, we are happy with our experiences at the North Bend Bar & Grill and have been frequenting this establishment for more than 7 years. We'll be back.

Re: Good Food, Service can be poor
I've been here many times and most times the service is good. My last experience however was not as good. The food was great and was pretty fast however our server was short, cold, and not very helpful (oh yes and scarce). I think it may have been just a bad server but I've had this happen once before. They need to kick this girl to the curb!

What happened to the great steaks?
The first time I went to this place the peppercorn steak sold me. North Bend Bar and Grill would be my steak place instead of the Keg! Consistent great food for about 3 months then the steaks suddenly sucked. Breakfast and lunch are still great though. Oh how I miss that awesome peppercorn steak.

Great place all around
I like this place. Comfy atmosphere, tasty food, friendly staff, and good beer. I would recommend to passers through, but of course, if you are local, you already have been here.

Good comfort food. Good bar too!
Sat in the bar the other night. Service was good. My burger was very good too. I like microbrews and they have plenty on tap. Probably 10 or 12. They even have Olympia Beer on tap! Funny. Check it out. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

All-around good
This is a great place for lunch after a skiing, hiking, or whenever you are in the neighborhood. I have only sat in the bar which offers great beers and good food accompanied by friendly service. I have never been here for dinner but I am sure it would be just as good.
